About the Artist
Giovanna Ricci is an illustrator born and bred in New York, and it remains a consistent source of her inspiration and subject matter. The practice of travelling with a small notebook serves to document the spontaneous beauty that makes the city so alive.
Much of her work as a textile artist comes from sketches born out of the act of play, which later gets translated into design and product. Whether it’s a decorative element in the home or an accessory to wear, she aims to make everyday spaces a little brighter with illustrations made to make you smile.
